#i cried like a baby at the end of this episode #so wonderful #black and white episode #doing it right #x-files #omg I was 13 and it was July of 1998, so I went to this convention by myself. My first sci-fi convention ever. This genre columnist had flown out to the US to watch Fight the Future and then she came back and was basically teasing the whole thing. and then they played fan videos and a tidbit of this scene was shown, but Post Modern Prometheus hadn’t aired yet in Brazil, and I lost my fucking shit. Full body flailing, feet stomping, crying, the full works.  Then I spent the next 8 weeks taking a very specific bus route home from prep school and sitting on a very specific side of the bus so I could “greet” the big Fight the Future billboard on the street. I’ll just say that the fact my mother didn’t have me committed back then is absolutely noteworthy, because those were not actions of a sane person.
